Well Lucretia Mott's passion for speaking on the abolishment of slavery was interupted when the National Conference on Salvery in London refused to let women speak. Lucretia who had always been outspoken and had a way with her words began to open her eyes. This moment caused Mott to open up her eyes to the discrimation that the american women recieved everyday. Deciated to change the way women was treated and viewwed Lucretia began to join another women , Elizabeth Cady staton in the fight for Women's Right. Their first attempt to change the outlook on women was the first women's right convention organized by Stanton and Mott. This convention lead to the continutions efforts eventually the right to vote.
